Why was he a FA on CBS since you had him from last season and he was not on your team? Might be a few mess ups on CBS because Shep and i noticed that he had a player on his team yet it showed up in the FA search and as a FA. And when i did my searching on BBKL i tried every possible combination and did not find him anywhere. All possible spelling errors. Did you not have him listed by mistake? No worries though. I retract my claim.

Well why does the search engine not work on this website? You shouldn't have to spell the entire name? Type in Pech..nothing comes up. I tried all spellings. And he is a FA on CBS. Not saying he isnt ours but whats a guy to do if the search engine doesn't work...am i doing something wrong here?

Edit: I guess when searching parts of words you must use wild cards like * My bad.
It's because on CBS, placeholders will not appear in a search.. best to search here on our site, hence the importance of keeping your sub-forum up-to-date.

Yea i searched the hell out of BBKL and always do first. I tried all possible combination's with nothing. It is important to use wildcards when searching part of a name when spelling errors may be an issue. People should know that.

For example: When searching for Pechurski and you type pech, nothing will return but if you use pech* you will find something. good stuff to know..

This is especially important for those of us who drafted players in '09 that are back in the draft in 2010 in the NHL but not here. Because just searching the draft thread won't be enough.

Beat me to it...do you get him because you claimed him first or would I get priority because of the standings? Is it first come, first serve? I'd like to put in a claim for him as well...

It's first come first serve, but once the season starts it goes by standings.

Otay! Good on Kyle for jumping in...he was a guy I thought about grabbing in the waiver draft but balked on it. He's nothing special...decent depth guy with a low price tag.

Yea i had him last year and he was a great injury callup. But since he a waiver eligible player He has to be placed in my active roster so it is basically a gamble at the moment. When roster submission time comes around i will have to make the decision, expose him to waivers or keep him active. With Thomas likely on IR i will have lots of cap space.
