Also guys if there's a vote I just want to be able to post. I'd one day there's a vacancy we can cross that bridge then but I only want to be a part of the community. So, can you guys have a vote? I think that's fair. Lots of guys have quit and came back. Mike and I had a falling out, I'm trying my hardest to make things right. I just wish Mike would give me 5-10 minutes of his time to talk to me and forgive me for my mistakes and things I said. I mean this all started because I cancelled an auction for Stamkos when I won an auction for Vanek and decided to go for it instead of rebuilding.
So basically over something so retarded I don't even get it!
Do you honestly think it is simply a matter of one lost auction that is keeping Mike from replying to you? I have kept my mouth shut this entire time because I am as clearly bias one way as shiv or steve are the other, but clearly you did something to Mike other than "pull stamkos off the table" for this to be as big of a deal as it is. IMO some things that went down should be left unsaid to the public but imo from what I saw and heard I am surprised by all the support for your return but I guess time heals everything.
IMO Scott you actually tarnished the league just as much if not more than you helped it. You always had your best interests at heart and abused the power you held and that is why there is still a strong, albeit silent, force holding you out of this league. For example, you keep signing in under media in attempt to win over the league by conveying how wrong done you are when you know this topic is clearly going on in the CC where it belongs! Cleary everyone has heard your side of the story now but IMO if you don't understand what you did wrong, as clearly presented in your arguments, how can you clearly show remourse and pretend that things will be different this time around? Simply put you can't
We had our differences but that was because I saw what you were doing and did not like it, not because of personalities. I, just like everyone else in here, will not pretend I like everyone on here, I still treat those people with respect. I attempted on many occasions to point out "shady" by you moves to the CC, other admins and other BBKL members but they fell on mainly fell on deaf ears. It took a few years for people to see anything because of the power you held in this league and to be quite honest I never would have rejoined had you still been in a position of power.
I feel this quote sums up what I am trying to say, "Repentance is not so much remorse for what we have done as the fear of the consequences." If someone truely does not see what they have done wrong, I truely don't see how hollow repentance can be sufficient enough for forgiveness. The day Scott, accepts what he has done and then appologizes with out condescension of those who he offended, I will have no problems letting him back in the league. Until that point, I am strongly planted on the side of no return.
Sorry for the rant, I know there are quite a few out there who feel the exact same as I do but choose to take the high road. I just couldn't stand seeing Mike bashed the way he has when there are many who agree with him. I think discretion at the time of Scott's offense, was meant to be a noble act on Mike's part but is now hurting his argument, as he is now the person under attack.
