Each team plays: 4 games vs. two Divisional opponents (8); 5 games vs. two divisional opponents (10); 3 games vs 10 Conference rivals (30).

Just like us they are fighting the actual breakdown to make the schedule logical and fair.

If we follow that model how will we determine what two teams a single team will play that extra time? That does have big impact on a shortened season, especially in the NE. Will it be using a random generator?

It doesn't work for us Kyle. Not even kinda. Although one western conference Div will get to play 1 team from the NE.


Eastern Conference, Division A, Team 1, will play Western Conference, Division A, Team 1
Eastern Conference, Division A, Team 2, will play Western Conference, Division A, Team 2
Eastern Conference, Division B, Team 1, will play Western Conference, Division B, Team 1
etc.

Jan 19th to April 27th.

This gives us a total of 14 weeks, minus 4 weeks for playoffs = 10 week season.

Layout plan, per team, is 4 weeks versus their division, 1 week versus inter conference & play 5 other conference games ** these will not be created equal, but will be random**


Few notes:
- Injuries magnified, someone misses 3 weeks and you just lost them for 30% of the year
- Slumps cannot happen, bad loss + hard matchup + dropped ball = risking playoffs.
+ 9 day opening week, LOTS of games, good feel for what sorta numbers to expect.
+Excellent final week for our stanley cup finals, 13 games on the final day
+ Games every single day, Feb 8th is the season low @ 1

Few notes:
Entire schedule was made blind (no team assignments) - and turned out exactly to design.
Which division was which range was randomly assigned, I asked another BBKL member at each instance.
Using last year's most up to date ranking, determined the within division numbering (1-5 turned out to be NE, TOR was 1st in div and got 1 spot, etc).

NJD & MIN do not have an out of conference game (for reasons i previously explained).
No one has 2.
No one plays an opponent twice.

Is there an issue with TB? You have yourself playing TOR in B2B yet it does not show it on TO sched?
