Nah I dont disagree with Bergevin, especially with Subban who's apparently asking for Doughty-level money which is insane. MDZ and Kulikov both signed 2 year deals for around 2.5mil a piece and I find both to be comparables; at least in terms of a shorter term deal. If you sign Subban long term I feel like the 4-mil range is where he should fall. MTL is offering just under 3-mil for 2 years and Subban wants something long term.

Sorry to say it but Subban is a clown as well.... I think the habs are lowballing him with offers close to MDZ but Subbans side is countering with DD type numbers. Both sides are way off by the sounds of it. He will be signed though. the CanadIANS fans love him, they can't lose him.
