Although Gardiner is twice the player skill wise, he isn't playing like it. I also see Liles in for game 4 but I don't see how Gardiner could be scratch over O'Byrne, the guy is awful.
I don't know what game you were watching... The Gardiner I saw tonight looked fantastic, and Carlyle remarked as much in his post game press conference.

Gardiner does 2 things when the puck is on his stick: Make a great pass or a blatantly awful turnover.

ye i disagree.. he does so much more great than he does negative. I've PvRed the game and it's on replay again right now. He's fucking magical, O'Byrne is junk -> would like JmL in there.
I don't get many of the criticisms of Gardiner's game 3. He was our best player in many regards in my opinion. He has some break-ins that are other-worldly. I frigging love when Kadri & he are on the ice together, almost always a scoring chance.

They, I believe it was Reimer's wife, said after the game that they were rolling their eyes together at the guy in the North Stars hat based on comments he made towards them. Followed by sending a pic of them together.
