This draft almost couldn't have gone better for me. Siemas to Colorado, Namestnikov to Tamps. My 2 fav non - Toronto teams.

Woot another canuck is mine! ... Jensen @ 29!

Im pretty happy with where my players ended up in the draft. Oleksiak going 14 to Dallas & Klefbom to Oilers @ 19.

Where they are picked doesn't change the player guys... I'd say one of my most over-referenced piece of information.

- Definitely liking where Joe Morrow went. They have a good core now but not much in the pipeline. Morrow might be their best D prospect now all of a sudden.
- Miller going to the Rangers is a good sign, they almost always make good picks!
- McNeill to Chicago leaves me salivating too.. so much young talent there already and now McNeill in the middle of it all. And he's exactly the type of prospect they need.

Now, I hope Detroit drafts Kucherov tomorrow(later today, technically) and Rattie goes early in the 2nd round to someone like Florida(if they still have their pick, I haven't checked) or Edmonton. Also, I wouldn't be surprised to see Harrington go in the 2nd round either!

i wasnt referring to the number they were picked at ... i was mentioning that i like the teams they got drafted to. Klefbom & Oleksiak both going to teams who are rebuilding and Jensen coming to Vancouver, cant beat having picked a player my home team did.

The TEAM they get picked by matters.

Never said it doesn't... just like it matters when a player gets traded, or signs somewhere else as a UFA.

If a guy gets picked early, that means that guy is thought highly by the club...that's not a bad thing for them. Plus, certain clubs have a better eye for talent so that matters also. But in the end, talent is talent but certain organizations offers better situations than others.

I'm still going off my list. A lot of NHL teams pick "safe" picks. I go boom or bust after the 2nd round.
