All indications are the Dallas Stars are about to make a GM change. Detroit's Jim Nill expected to be named GM of Stars as early as Mon.

Nieuwendyk fired?

Nill has been due for a GM job for a long time...amazed he's been as loyal to the Wings as he has.

Gotta admit though CAM- best test of the bruins so far, has been the Leafs.

Bruins are manhandling the Pens.

Too bad the Leafs collapsed or they could be en route to the Cup final..! Bruins have been absolutely beastly since they made the Leaf game 4-2 in Game 7.

I've always been a big believer in Brule - Skill & work-ethic - it would be a great comeback story IMO. Lots of Vancouver stories about how great a kid is he/was too.

I've been holding onto his BBKL rights as well :)

“Naturally I’ve thought about Vancouver because I’m here, and I know they could use a centre,” said Brule. “The strange thing is that when my agent (Edmonton’s Gerry Johannson) talked to them before, when I was a free agent, they said no because of my father. A lot of teams now think of me as a guy who is going to run around and hit guys, and I know often in that third-line role you need a guy who’s going to provide energy. But they forget I have some skill, which is why I was drafted where I was.”
lol so cocky

There is nothing cocky about that...

IMO he basically said he would be willing to come in as a 3rd line guy, knowing he has to crash and bang, all the while wanting to show the team that he can make plays as well -> that's perfect and exactly how I would want my whole team to approach it. I want a team full of guys who want to show they can do more.

for some reason, with Grabo, I would be a little surprised. What I heard is a player who is going to come back and spite the Leafs repeatedly.

Grabovski literally said in an interview this week that he's had 1 KHL offer and he thinks he only has received 1 because he has no desire to play anywhere but the NHL.
