I'm still going off my list. A lot of NHL teams pick "safe" picks. I go boom or bust after the 2nd round.

Leivo is a perfect example of why our draft should be before the NHL's. According to the Leafs brass this kid has as much potential as anyone, and I can honestly say I knew nothing about this kid, and I doubt bcool did either, but as soon as the Leafs draft him, and the info comes out he becomes an easy selection...It ruins the integrity and fun of drafting. Being able to brag to peers that you knew about X before so and so, as the draft is currently constructed it is just a matter of who read or heard about X from a scout first.

Completely agree. I was going to take someone with my next pick who didn't get drafted, and now I'm not going to bother to.

Coleman was a guy I was targetting for a long time, was hoping to get him with a later pick because he is over age. Everson was a result of the Leafs drafting him and reading that he was ranked in the top 100.

I agree a 100 % buddy. I feel it ruin the draft but oh well the copycat must be happy to know who was taken.
