Nothing against Kyle but shep didn't get anything for Radulov and nobody else got anything in other similar situations. As much as there was predicting this, there were numerous rumours leading up to his eventual signing. In fact, I truly believed it was a done deal when he didn't get traded on draft day. I sympathize with Kyle as that is a big loss for him but I think it is a dangerous precedent to set as I don't think this will be an uncommon occurrence.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIs there anyway the BBKL can compensate KyleG with like a 2014 1st or something? I think we can all agree that this is just a brutal loss, and impossible to predict.

Just my opinion but wont fight anything if others feel he warrants some kind of compensation.
side argument. He is 21 and could easily return and have a lengthy nhl career after his time in KHL. If Kyle holds onto him he could still turn out to be a great nhler and also have received a compensation piece which could also be a great nhler lol. I just don't see it but again my opinion.
Talking about Kovy not Burmi haha.shooker wroteCOLONNothing against Kyle but shep didn't get anything for Radulov and nobody else got anything in other similar situations. yea I realize that now lol. I thought it was about burmi. I should have scrolled up but seemed to be the only realistic topic it would be about. That's seriously shocking. He is leaving a ton of money on the table.Sensfanjosh wroteCOLONTalking about Kovy not Burmi haha.
too soon lol.Tony wroteCOLONBetter trade Tarasenko before it's too late Kyle
LOL yea. Burmi - that's whatever. Kovalchuk just fucked the devils and kyle.shooker wroteCOLONSorry my comments were towards burmi. didn't realize the Kovalchuk thing lol NVM harsh lol.
Agreed 100%MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONOn a related note, I hope the Leafs never touch a Russian again, I don't care how talented. I'm certainly never drafting a Russian in BBKL again, it's far too risky at this point.
Trust me it crossed my mind....Tony wroteCOLONBetter trade Tarasenko before it's too late Kyle
kk yea. I was being kind with my wording when I thought it was burmi. I was like are you kidding me but yea I'd be ok with 31st pick or something. It wont make up the value but what can ya do when someone pulls a Barry Sanders.MSP4LYFE wroteCOLONIf it were Burmi I'd agree with no compensation, but Kovalchuk... I think that deserves something...
