so im running the men's league at my rink and i need some championship prize ideas for this season. we've done t-shirts...last season we did beer mugs...

throw out some ideas - maybe cool prizes you've gotten in the past?

What's the price limit?

well if you get it from someone who grows or chops big counts. You shouldn't have to pay too much for the bag. Especially in cali.

was thinking that - but i only get so many tickets from the ducks a year. can't afford to hand them out to 3 different teams of 10-15 guys. would rather keep them for some of the kid's teams.

ive also got ice time at STAPLES Center to offer, but I usually use that as reward for the first 6 teams to get their money paid in full.

IMO a wicked trophy that's not some cheap little cup or medals around the neck..but something you actually add plaques to and pass on from year to year.

League I played in North Van had it, made the finals even sweeter.

i manage a rink down here and am heavily involved in socal minor hockey. the hockey community in the area is extremely tight knit as you can imagine. ducks and kings are very willing and eager to support minor hockey around here, even outside the jr. king and jr. ducks.

we have a (cheap) trophy that they take pictures with and then a separate plaque that hangs on the wall with the winners from every year for each division. that's all already part of it but usually we give em a little something like a shirt/mug as well.

How about a discount on league fees for the following season

the owner would not be thrilled haha. we're already the cheapest league in the area.

Discount to the pro shop?
