Haven't seen much talk about this on social media, but yesterday emails were sent out to lottery winners who signed up in the summer to buy tickets for next years tourny in Toronto. I didn't remember doing this, but I apparently signed up and won the chance to buy tickets. They go on sale at 10AM and the window closes tomorrow at 5PM, I am able to buy 4 ticket packages for 19 games including the medal rounds, but don't know pricing details yet.

I'm probably buying 2 as an investment since if Canada makes the gold medal game I can either go to a once in a lifetime experience or flip them and make WAYYYY more than face value. If I don't buy the other 2 I might offer them up to someone else and I know a few here are from Toronto, have a couple friends in Barrie I'm going to ask first, but there might be 2 ticket packages available if someone wants them.

It's Toronto, they would be sold out in seconds if they didn't have this ticket draw thing. Only some people have the opportunity to buy them and it will be the hottest ticket in town next year with Connor McDavid leading us to gold and tickets sold out a year in advance. I think scalping gold medal tickets could potentially go for $1000 plus if we play US or Russia.

Greeen 10 rows back they want $885 for 19 tickets and there not all Canada games and no guarantee Canada makes semis and finals. I'm going to be kicking myself next year for not doing it when they are being scalped for outrageous prices.
