His stats year by year have been UNREAL. Except this year since he moved to Buffalo. However, trade rumours are aplenty and he has been linked to PIT (to replace Dupuis on the Kunitz-Crosby line) and LAK (desperate for offence) in particular.

No doubt Tavares had a hand. And I wouldn't call 32 points on the season struggling..

Also, that's the key thing right. He will be traded by BUF to a team that has a top C needing a winger. E.g. Spezza, Kopitar, Crosby etc.

he definitely has skills. To be fair to him as well the entire team over in Buffalo has been struggling.
