Not sure what you guys have out your doorstep but we have been hammered this winter with snow. My yard is completely buried with over a metre in snow everywhere with 3-4 m snow banks. We are in the path of this once in 10 yr storm coming. Southern NB and NS will get the worst. We also have another 35 cms forecast for Saturday. This is nuts. I golfed like 10 times in April a couple years ago. This snow will be here for a long time. It gets depressing.

We've had 60 degrees and sunny pretty much for the past six weeks. We had snow that stuck once in mid-December and that was about it ... we have a stupid north facing house so it didn't melt for about a month. Winter pretty much missed us.

After months of a tough winter down here, there's been a mild warm up in the last week and it's the first time I've seen my lawn since the fall. Could get into the 50s/60s over the weekend.

I was dumb and let water collect at the base of our driveway and had a solid ice sheet a good six inches thick that had to chisel away with one of those heavy steel rods you break concrete with. Fun times.

ridiculous. Lawn? whats grass? it will be over a month before we see green here. Amazing the change in such a short distance. Fundy coast has no snow atm, we are fucking buried 1.5 hrs away.

Normally i would too except I am fucking trapped and its only getting worse. I am in a 2 level home and my snow banks are equal to the 2nd floor. its getting old just like me.
Cue Tony and old man yelling at cloud.

Alberta weather is for the most part boring and quite predictable. I lived in Calgary, i know. Good summer storms though! You come from NS. Not many people understand what a real blizzard is. If this was to hit Toronto the military would be there for weeks. It is the strongest storm in last 10 years. Stronger winds than White Juan but less snow cause its moving faster. Central pressure equivalent of a Cat 3 hurricane. How many people have been hit by a weather bomb(bombogenesis)? This one is dropping almost 54 mb in 24 hrs.

Lol i know. Still provides the rest of Canada with some fuel to tease the largest city in country. Calling this one a Blizzacane. Gusts in Nantucket have hit 80 mph.
