Listening on Doughty. Previous deal when the organization acquired him was ROR + Percy + 2nd. Greater return needed to move him, but in a similar structure (high quality player + first rate prospect). Please keep in mind I need some cap dollars coming back as well either as part of the main structure or as an add.

ROR ain't worth that much less than Doughty now. I guess that trade happened a year ago or so

He's a high-cap scoring winger with a risk to take up a C spot... Guy is great real life but doesn't show up on the stat sheet. Dmen like doughty (very rare) are easily worth a scoring winger + reasonable prospect... That was an amazing deal to land doughty at that time, and it would be today as well (unless Percy is more valued than I believe).

Percy is freaking awesome. But that was still a great deal.

Fair deal at the time. He is worth more now. Doughty you see what you get. ROR has room to improve.

What do I care I don't even own him.

I'm a big fan, see a lot of Bergeron in his game, but he's not there yet & his h2h # leave a lot to be desired. With DD you get a top 5 Dman and his # are great too.

Was ROR LW or C last year in BBKL?

W and the 2PIM, 22 hits and only 1min SHTOI along with the cap hit hurt his value a bit. Still a good player, but I think Doughty is worth a lot more than ROR personally.
