As someone who went through a period of severe depression, hopefully this opens some dismissive minds that it is quite serious. I spent many days figuring out exactly how I would do it... There are still family members that blow it off.

I'm glad you pulled through bud. I have known a few people with the same problems. Very tough. Not an easy issue to deal with for the person as well as family.

I have a mother who suffers from depression and anxiety, and until you know a person who suffers from it you truly dont realize how it completely changes who they are. It's quite a known disorder but i dont think the commom person trulty realizes how badly it actually effects the person and the family until they go through it.

So sad. Depression is an incredibly powerful thing to struggle with; as others have noted above, it is so hard to hear what others say when one is going through an episode. It can be completely all-encompassing.

Williams was a FANTASTIC improviser; just an incredibly fast, and witty mind.
