If Peverley plays than yes it is a big win for Thom. Everything I have read states that he will play, but his injury is not something to be taken lightly. No matter I don't mind the deal, I get a player who almost gets around the same stats as Pevs, and I cut 2 million in cap. Where I lose a few cats in this deal I can afford to , and the couple of cats where Laps is better is where I needed some help....


Anyways good job for Thom for taking the risk on Pevs, I hope he comes back and has a great yr.

Yea that's the risk with Peverley. A) Medically can he play (I think solid chance) B) Emotionally/Psychologically.. assuming he is able to put his heart rate up to a safe level, when he's not on the medications, he and his family will discuss whether it's worth it to do so. That isn't a small matter.

Obviously I'm banking on him coming back, however it's all or nothing.


I do like both prospects though. Especially the spelling challenge!

I really like him too, however Dallas has some very good talent ahead of him. Unless they trade him, it could be a while before he gets his shot.
