Time to make tough decisions and cut some ties..
Mark Streit
open to listen, but with Timonen out I'm expecting strong contribution from the veteran Swiss, so I'd rather keep him. However that will become more difficult once Datsyuk comes back from his injury (cap reasons)
Aubé-Kubel
Flyers winger prospect, 8 pts in the first 6 OHL games, had a strong rookie camp this year right after being drafted. Price is 2nd rounder 2015.
Erik Karlsson II drafted 99th by CAR and 70th in BBKL in 2012, just turned 20, played well his role on the U20 national Swedish team at the last WJC, currently playing 4th line for Frolunda (SHL) + Gregory Hofmann, 103rd by CAR and 64th in BBKL, 6pts in the first 9 games in Switzerland.
4th 2015 (#91-120)for today will trade for any 4th rounder.
Jason Dickinson
strong camp with the Stars, still with the team, looks like he is coming into his own, very nice potential, especially for BBKL (shtoi). May be available for a 1st 2015 if I like the pick enough (not talking top 10 though)
Juho Lammikko just drafted early in the 3rd by Florida, looking great in OHL http://ontariohockeyleague.com/roster/show/id/24209 +Yaroslav Kosov 21yrs old Panthers' prospect, big, strong skating Russian, projects as a 3rd liner. Off a strong start in KHL with 6pts in 10 games. 2nd + 4th for the package.
Olivier Leblanc Blue Jackets D prospect, lack of strength made him drop at the 2014 draft but that's something you can gain over time. 6th rounder in either year.
Henri Ikonen
i'd rather keep him, but might be moved in a package for the right deal.
Mikael Wikstrand
2 way D, terrific development since being drafted in 2012 by Ottawa in the 7th round. Promising numbers in SHL last season already.
I'll consider 2nd rounders.
Other guys might become available for the right offer (value wise while reducing my roster number), but the above are more likely to leave.
Hitting the bed now, leave PM, thx
