Been a long time coming. Any of you previous 4 or so Myers owners since I came into this league are well aware of how long I've been chasing after this guy. Mik knows this story pretty well too hahaha

Paul what it came down to for me was despite his two goal effort the other day. I don't see Vey staying in the Canucks lineup when healthy. And longterm its getting hard to see where he will fit in. Everyone in the bottom 6 is outplaying him, and that 2nd line isn't getting broken up. And with Horvat emerging, Shinkaruk and Jensen waiting in the wings, I personally see Vey as the odd man out for a long time.
He's still a player that I see having an NHL future. But its hard for me to see where that would be with the Canucks, and because of that I felt it was a good time to move him for me.

I figure despite the obvious production/age factor, you might have had a personal insight related reasoning for this. Cuz its certainly not a bbkl-friendly deal. U just lose outright. But if u stick by ur judgement call let's hope u are right
