nhlcummers get's their data from capgeek, so it won't update either. Works for now though until trades/signings start going down again.

Yep! thanks for the heads up. I am anxious for a reliable cap site!

I still can't do anything on CapGeek... all my searches lead to the "CEASES OPERATIONS" page.
http://www.spotrac.com/nhl/
That site seems okay so far though. I don't know how quickly everything is updated. It also doesn't have players not counting against the cap anywhere I don't think.

Agreed. I really miss capGeek as I was really familiar with it. This new one will have to do for now.

We need to find something more reliable than this. I know I have many issues with the Google archives as do others.
A site that we can all universally use is a must, IMO. Whether that is biting the bullet with NHLNumbers, using a new site that I don't know about, whatever. But I think using the Google archives for CapGeek is only going to cause headaches down the road as I know already it has for me and others.

yes, on my roster i have 2 players where i can find 3 different sites with 3 different caps listed:
Saad: 764k - 833k - 890k
Gallagher: 684k - 870k - 900k
i seriously have no idea which one is right and which one i should go by. We need to find a realible link the entire league can follow so these errors dont happen anymore.

yes I agree. At least a consensus on one site to use for now until CapGeek is fixed. Will admins direct us here?
