Nice! I like it for Shoalzie. I think Stajan should recover from his poor play.

I might get a bump in offense but it seemed to be a very even swap. I hope it works out for Tony.

Bellemare is coming off one of his most productive weeks...a goal (GWG), 13 hits, 8:05 SHTOI in 4 games.

More upside for Scott. Bellemare is French... he could retreat back to his homeland at any time.

Weird trade. Bellemare is an interesting player. I would really be interested to see what he could do in other than a 4th line role, but he is a great 4th liner.

I love his speed but he didn't do much when he got top 6 reps earlier in the season. He might work as a checker though.

Nobody is doing anything on that team except for the top line in part because Burube is an awful coach. You say you want Couturier to he your 2nd line center and become more of a scorer yet Burube continues to bury him in the defensive zone and play him with guys like Umberger and Rinaldo. Burube has zero idea how to assemble lines because if he did he would quit shuffling Giroux and Voracek's linemate and leave Raffl there, or beer break up Schenn and Simmonds, or start the year with Akeson playing with Couturier and Read...and many more examples.
