i'd rather percy, but deal seems fair

I know guys are wondering why I'd do this after acquiring Moulson just last week. Answer is value. I shipped out a mid draft 2015 1st + a 2016 3rd. By getting Percy I remove all the uncertainty if the guy I would have chosen with the pick pans out. Not to mention the added leaf value he has in this league. I also get a guy drafted in the 3rd round last draft that I liked alot, but.missed out on as I figured he would have dropped further than he did in our draft.

That and if I decided to flip Moulson sometime in the future I didn't see myself getting any better than what I paid for him. Figured I'll take my little value upgrade here and run with it.

Percy is a stud but with Nemeth bergman madaisky and Dahlbeck I felt comfortable losing defensive prospect depth

Tbh I was thinking along the same lines as you were Paul. Another reason why I liked this deal; hoping he's Franson's replacement after the deadline.

I would have taken the 1st over Percy as I think this year has some very good 1st rounders from the looks of it.

Could also be because I don't like leafs.

Franson is as good as gone IMO

Percy imo has actually been a lot better than Rielly and Jake, but Percy is waiver exempt so they just send him down

Percy's been hurt a lot this season as well made things a bit easier
