Good deal guys. If Bozak can bounce back I like this for Steve.

That was def a concern of mine, we shall see if he gets moved. If he does hopefully it's too a team where he can play in the top 6.

I don't think if Bozak is moved he gets to play on the top 6 of the new team... but we have to see if he does get moved first.

Interesting thought exercise... what teams does bozak play on a traditional top 6 scoring line? I could see him being on a sheltered scoring line ...

Ana - 3rd line
Mon - 2nd line
Bos - 2nd line (with krejci out)
Rangers - 3rd line
Hawks - 2nd line

those are the teams i'd see interested.

When Bozak is apart from Kessel and JvR, his GF/60 drops 0.53, his CF% drops a staggering 10% when apart from Kessel and 5% when apart from JvR, he is carried by his linemates the last few years and I fear when he gets traded that his numbers are going to drop. He only has 22 ES points this year, 7 ES goals.

However, if he stays on the Leafs, he will stick with these 2 and with a different coach next year he might get back to 50 points in which I get killed in this trade because I lose a TON of FOW. Losing a 1st line centre's worth of faceoffs is a huge pill to swallow, and I made the trade assuming Bozak goes, which is far from a sure thing.

It's a risk/reward for Steve. Bozak stays, he wins, he leaves and I say I win which is why I made the deal because I believe he goes.

He'd be 3rd on Chicago, Richards and Toews would beat him out.

Never been a Bozak fan, I think Holland surpasses him in NHL/BBKL in the near future.
