I needed a body with Jack Skille going down for the rest of the year...and at a reasonable price to boot.

Starrett is very much in the infant stages of his development. He won't even start his college career at Cornell until next year. I don't even know if he's played this year at any level...I saw he was recovery from an injury. I like Vanier but I've got a few other defensemen ahead of him on my "chart".

He's playing for the same team as last year, South Shore. Injrued his shoulder right at the beginning of the year and just came back around American Thanksgiving.
