GWT - Week #23 FINAL WEEK

Anaheim Ducks vs Vancouver Canucks - Zzzz...With 12 players between these two glass rosters unlikely to play any games this week, they may as well just flip a coin, and hope that they dont hurt themselves in the process.

Calgary Flames vs Colorado Avalanche - Calgary has a great chance this week to catch SJS for 2nd in the Pacific (11 points back), as SJS faces the elite Kings. Undefeated in 4 since acquiring Toews, I wouldnt bet against Calgary. After only 2 Wins in their past 7 Matches, The Avalanche unexpectedly wiped out the Preds last week. Colorado is now just grasping onto a 6 point lead in the Central.

Edmonton Oilers vs Arizona Coyotes - Who sucks more? Please place your bets with Mr Kim, Gentlemen.

Los Angeles Kings vs San Jose Sharks - An 11 Point lead on 3rd place CGY doesnt seem so great when you are up against the Guillotine of the King.

Chicago Blackhawks vs Winnipeg Jets - The Jets are actually still in this Race, despite an absent GM. Only 14 points back of the Blues at this point. Last week WPG tied the Wild, and STL Lost handedly to this Hawks team, but this week they switch dancing partners. Lets see who can keep up.

Dallas Stars vs Nashville Predators - The Preds won 9 Weeks in a row, and then dropped 2 straight to division rivals CHI & COL...Luckily, they have this last week safety net. Just before the playoffs is a terrible time to go cold, but when half your centermen are 35 & over, you really cant expect them to stay up this late in the season.

Minnesota Wild vs St. Louis Blues - GAME OF THE WEEK: WESTERN EDITIONThe Wild are just 6 points back of COL for the Central Division Lead, and 2 Points up on NSH for 2nd. The Blues attempt to hold onto the Final playoff spot in the West, after losing 3 of their past 4 matchups. I doubt anyone thought the Blues would be in this much trouble at this point after the mid-season acquisition of Crawford.

Boston Bruins vs Tampa Bay Lightning - Tampa needs just 3 points to catch the Devils for the final playoff spot. They have a tough opponent, but so do the Devils in NYR.

Buffalo Sabres vs Toronto Maple Leafs - With Toronto back to their old opponent-crushing selves again, I think it would be fair to refer to them as the Alpha team of the East. Possibly even the double alpha team. Whatever, Lets just call him Alfalfa. With an 18 Point least over TB, BUF needs 14 points to guarantee a PO Spot, although given TB's opponent, 0 Points may be just fine.

Detroit Red Wings vs Montreal Canadiens - After Dallas makes Mincemeat of the Preds, The RedWings will hold the "McDavid" Pick...is absolutely something that wont happen, as only 22 points separate. MTL just 4 and 9 Points back of the Isles & Pens, hopes this easy match can Vault them up the eastern Standings.

Florida Panthers vs Ottawa Senators - Both teams lost last week, and the week before, i dont know what to write for them, cuz they suck fo sho'r

Columbus Blue Jackets vs Washington Capitals - WSH has all but locked up the Metro Division Title with some crafty play the past 2 weeks, and a fairly easy match in this the final week.

Carolina Hurricanes vs Pittsburgh Penguins - After the Isles b**** Slapped the Pens last week, the Pens gotta watch their backs. The Isles lurk just 5 points back for 2nd in the Metro, and wanna finish what they started. CAR defeated a revitalized PHI team last week, but I am sure we can all agree that the lack off Shit talking between the two opponents left us all unsatisfied, disappointed, and quite ashamed of those two perennial punch-liners.

New Jersey Devils vs New York Rangers - GAME OF THE WEEK: EASTERN EDITION[ NJD currently sit 8th in the east, and the NYR are 10th, but just 12 points back. The Rangers havent won in 4 Matches, and the Devils also lost last week. With Varlamov Day-to-Day the NYR may find this a tough task, but otherwise, this should be a close match with big playoff implications.

New York Islanders vs Philadelphia Flyers - The Post-Deadline PHI team has shown their skaters can now compete with most any team (Finished 13th last period), and hope to make it tough for the Isles to make up the 5 points needed for 2nd in the Metro. This could be a good matchup, as both teams sport below average goaltending.

Cuz Nashville had won 9 in a row, and Colorado has 2 wins in last 7 matches during your new gm tenure, like it says. ;)

So, question about Dubinsky.

Can I move him from LTIR if I put him on the list last week thinking they would be out a while but is back playing?

Lol, thats the gamble of placing on LTIR vs IR. The 3 week timetable.
