Anthony DeAngelo + 2015 1st Round Pick

Wondering what this package could reel me in.
I have the 9th, 10th and 25th overall picks.
Fraser wroteCOLONFor me to pull the trigger quickly here I suppose it will take a special buyer who views DeAngelo like I do. When you factor in Tampa Bays weak depth of RHD, his absolutely insane scoring these past few months over or around 2 PPG. Tampa's projected high high profile offense for the next decade, and the likelihood he will be the #1 PP specialist as a part of that dynamic offense.
When factoring his skill set with this ideal situation, you have a combination for an absolutely elite offensive dynamo in the making. All while not shying away from physical play and has a mean steak that has had him racking up PIMS throughout his junior career. Taking all that into consideration this is an asset that I really value, and I am putting him to test the waters more or less to see where his value is at right now as a high calibre prospect.
A deal could get done quick with the right offer. But I could also see myself sitting on this for a little while to see whats out there.

Considering he thought that Lazar was an easy yes he must be considering this.

Pirri for 9 + ADA

We have talked.
Not rushing into a deal on this one. These are very important assets to me that I'm putting up for discussion here.
Maybe Its because I don't see Lazar becoming a consistent scorer in this league, or maybe I have become too locked in my "future based" mindset. But I really don't see how Lazar + two 2nd round draft picks is so much better than DeAngelo and the 9th overall this year.

Pirri has 20 goals in 43 games and is 4 behind the Panthers leading scorer, who has played 29 more games than him.
He's also signed next year for 925k.

I'd have to say Lazar and two 2nds is worth less than a decent first and ADA

Pirri has disappeared as of late. Its all hubs/jagr/barkov driving that team right now (boy do they look good those 3)

If by disappear you mean "has 3 goals in his last 4 games" and "7 in his last 9", then yes.

Different mindsets I guess. To me an established NHL C like Lazar who already has great periphs while playing less than 13min a night is worth a lot. His offence will improve, but even if he never tops 40points a cheap source of SHTOI, FOW and hits has value.
I also admittedly undervalue draft picks since there is so much risk involved that the player won't make a big impact in BBKL and the return you can get from teams that want to try and hit homeruns and land a star makes them valuable league wide. To me Lazar > 1st Deangelo > 2 2nds so it seemed fair.

With a record of 20-2, he'd be the best pitcher we've had since Doc.

Probbably, maybe... I don't know. I've only been the most casual of fans since Doc was traded.

Yeah I was probably like... 9? When the jays won the world series. I don't remember that.
I remember Green and Delgado fucking shit up at the plate. Clemens being the ace, Doc wasn't that great at the time actually, he came around.
Still remember getting a Felix Potvin poster for my birthday and it was the best thing I got that year.. I don't even remember anything else.
