Schultz is a beast Chuckster...why trade him for prospects? (I assume it's because you know something about the prospects that I don't)

Habs insider must love Collberg. Maybe he's better than he appears on the surface.

He's not very good but he's worth taking a chance on.

Fact is I had 8 NHL regular dmen (EJ, Green, Beauchemin, Leddy, Sekera, Stone, Schultz and Orlov) with 2 others as fringe NHLers (Olsen and Clitsome).

That coupled with the fact I planned my cap for next year well in advance based on the cap not really moving at all. If it drops like they say my plan suddenly doesn't work and I'll have to make cap space regardless.

Not to mention I paid less for him than I got IMO.

So profit + excess dmen + cap savings = deal

Not to mention Collberg is only 21 and is very talented. He had a rough NA debut but he still has lots of time to turn it around. I think people are writing him off far too quick.

And I really like Fogarty as a bottom 6 player going forward.

Didn't collberg get sent down to the coast? Think you coulda gotten better prospect(s) for schultz after his solid season. Ah well.

That part is debatable. Collberg was in the ECHL last season at 21 and has 51 points in the last 5 years. I'd take Subban and Schoenborn over him and Fogarty.

I feel like Subban and Collberg have similar shots at an NHL job; and I'd take Fogarty over Schoenborn anyday. Schoenborn went wayyy too high in last years draft.

I like Subban more than Collberg
