Will also hear on Malkin just for the sake of it, but keep in mind I can't take back much in terms of packages of players unless they are involved in a 3-way deal, so hard to make it work value wise.
The less cap coming back, the better.
1st Rounders 2016 and 2017 will be valued, in some cases even more than ready waiver exempt players.
I really would like to hold on Bob & Dats, but if I had to guess I would say Dats is among the most likely to leave together with Plekanec and Nyquist.

Mik has one of the best sustainable models for teams in our league. He's got the strong NHL roster but he's really done well with drafting. I think it's one thing to have a strong lineup but to have a good prospect pool to draw from as a way to replace a player that might put you over the cap...that's a great situation.

2017 1st rounder (DET) + 2017 1st rounder (ANA) for Malkin? That's a likely top 2 pick and a pick between 5-10.
You replace Malkin with the detroit pick, and get another top pick.

What for Ribeiro? 2nd rounder? I'd add a 3rd rounder, but apparently he diddled children. I'm not sure that's the type of organization I want to be running over here.
