Exactly, not too often 27 yrs old AHL'ers become NHL starters, but I think he is capable of being a very good backup, and I paid well for that backup. If he fizzles out Dave gets a hell of a deal, as I think Konecny is going to be real good. Chaput is also pretty decent 3rd line pk'er type of guy in the making, who might be a steal. There is no way he plays as good as last yr, but if he becomes a starter or ever a 1b, then I win.
