Boys, thought I'd toss some names out there who should be in line for some solid seasons.
1) Adam Henrique - should be the year he gets a chance to shine, Should be in line to play more at centre. Now or never to reach the potential.
2) Mike Fisher - all around beast. Likely top 10 numbers at centre (if extrapolated - didn't do the math, but I doubt I'm wrong here) with a nice 2 year deal.
3) Nick Bonino - Mike Fisher-lyte. Does most of the same, except less physical. Super cheap and still young.
4) Jussi Jokinen - great addition to a playoff bound team looking to boost some peripherals with added scoring.
5) Jason Zucker - great scoring year last season with about a hit/g plus SHTOI mins. Could be in for a big year.
6) Zach Bogosian - Could be Phaneuf-esque in Buffalo. likely to struggle +/- but should be a beast elsewhere.
7) Matt Niskanen - with Green out of the picture, expecting a return to his offensive pitt numbers with very solid peripherals. Was a beast in the playoffs, so should carry into a career year.
8) Ryan Ellis - young, cheap, very effective. PP2 and SH2 line minutes. Contributes everywhere and continues to prove himself on a very deep defence in Nash.
9) Ben Lovejoy - great periph numbers and should continue to contribute on Pitt at a very inexpensive price.
10) Marc-Andre Fleury - new contract is relatively cheap for his numbers. System is now complete (minus whatever backup they decide to sign). A Top 5 system for the foreseeable future. Looking for a system in return + picks/prospects.
11) Thomas Greiss - forgot about him. Quality backup on a good team. Looking for less than market value (1st rounder)
Aside from MAF+system, my aim for those listed here (with exception of Lovejoy) is to get a lesser player in return (similar age or younger) + prospects/picks. Happy to discuss 2/3 for 1s. Cap and roster space is not an issue. Lovejoy could be had for good prospect/picks. Looking to continue to develop a good system. Happy hunting.
