LAK/VAN - Goodbye sweet prince

Post by Fraser »

To Los Angeles:

Zack Kassian
Jake Virtanen

To Vancouver:

Colin Wilson
kyle Clifford
Charles Hudon

When Kassian explodes I'm gonna be a double idiot

He's gonna be a player. So will Wilson. It's the Kassian for Clifford/Hudon part of it where I can see myself taking the hit.

This. Kassian has been due to " go off"" since the Hodgson trade. It will never happen.

That being said, good trade.

Yeah, probably ends up pretty fair. I don't see Virtanen ending up as a superstar winger, so Wilson for Virtanen is probably going to be pretty fair even if virtanen is a consistent 50 point winger. Again, Kassian going off would probably be a 40 point winger, so the difference between his production and hudon + clifford isnt going to ever be astronomical. Good Fair trade.

Kassian is a terrible hockey player. He's lucky he has a job in the NHL still.
