'15/16 Rookies watch

This thread goes well beyond the McJesus Vs Eichel race for the Calder.
Not only because it's a deep rookie class and there are other legitimate candidates... in fact, in terms of BBKL, rookies become relevant even with a limited impact and without any chance to appear in Calder conversations.
For my Preds this is a year where several drafted kids have cracked NHL lineups off training camp, a couple of them making it against the odds (this early):
Panarin (#197 2011)
Janmark (#165 2013)
Arvidsson (#92 2013)
Slepyshev (#61 2012)
Graovac (#173 2013)
W.Karlsson (#76 2011)
Kemppainen (#9 Waiver 2015)
Larkin (#15 2014)
Nice start for Panarin, Janmark and Arvidsson who all scored in the first game.
In season candidates to be added might be Lindbohm, Nosek, Rasmussen & Buchnevich.
These other young NHLers lost their rookie eligibility so if anything they could belong in this other
thread :
Nordstrom (traded for)
Kuznetsov (traded for)
J.Larsson (drafted)
Jaskin (drafted)
Klingberg (traded for)
Folin (drafted in W)
Who are your rookies who made their NHL team this season?

Connor brickley (traded for)
Adam clendening (traded for)
2nd year guys:
Alex wennberg (traded for)
Cedric "dumptruck" paquette (traded for)
Jamie oleksiak (traded for)
And I'd love I scherbak or nylander get called up, even if unlikely.

Last year was a struggle for me watching him play 10 minutes a game with scrubs like morrow.
60-70 points this year as long as he keeps getting top 6 time

I don't have any players under the age of 33.

I would bet against this, even with top6 time.

he had 32 points last year playing 10-12 minutes a night with the likes of morrow.
I'd say there is a very good chance he lands somewhere between 60-70. Hell scheifele had 49 last year and Drouin is two to three times the offensive player he is.

I would be absolutely stunned to see him crack the 60 point threshold this year, no way. Not without 1st unit PP time, and 18-20 mins a night

I've always been a cally fan, he's just getting older and has played a very physical brand of hockey throughout his career. Just not sure how much more he's got in him

Im just amazed at how the majority of this league wants nothing to do with players once they reach 30.

I'd be fine with older players, but cuz no one else wants them it means if I acquire them I lose value in trying to re-move them.
Hence all it takes is a couple ppl not wanting them and it spreads thru the league.

depends on the player. Finesse players like he sedins? Sure! Rough and tumble type players? Ehhhhh not so much

Definitely value to be had in this group. But its scary with the number of relatively decent producers who are sitting in the minors or without contract now. Kids are getting better and teams know if they don't find a way to mix in youth with expensive talent they're going to be a shitty team.
Also you get guys like regehr randomly hanging up the skates at 33... f'in annoying.

I have to guess all the people going OT have no rookies on their teams?

Well Drouin really wasn't off topic since you created a list of similar players after your rookie list.
To answer the question though, no, I don't have any rookies
