Have some players with varying utility. Goal is to cut cap.
Willing to take back similar older players/fringe players with less cap, picks, prospects. Happy to combine. Rest of my players are available too.
1) Patrick Elias
5.5 M Cap Hit, last year of contract
Age 39
Status - working out, should return in November/early December.
Produces solid stats, 0.5ppg, SHTOI, FOW. Still will be useful, if returns.
2) Andrew Ference
3.25 M Cap Hit, expires 2016-17
Age 36
Status - battling for 6th d-spot on EDM. Has played last two games, 15 mins, 1-2 m SHTOI, hits/blks. On the trading block in NHL. May find a new home with fulltime work
3) RJ Umberger
4.6 M Cap Hit, expires 2016-17
Age 33
Status - playing 2nd/3rd line in PHI, offenseive production (3A in 3 games) + hits
4) Pascal Dupuis
3.75 M Cap Hit, expires 2016-17
Age 36
Status - back in action and lining up with Sid and Phil as per reports. Shots, likely scoring, and great periphs. This guy, if stays healthy, will win you a championship.
5) Nick Schultz
2.25 M Cap Hit, expires 2016-17
Age 33
Status - playing with Streit on top D pairing, BLK and SHTOI stats are top end.
6) Blake Comeau
2.4 M Cap Hit, expires 2017-18
Age 29
Status - playing 2nd line in COL. Offense struggling but should pick up. Hits and SHTOI.
