Hartnell really underrated in this league. Hard sell and was happy holding him but this just made a lot of sense. Needed to cut cap, opens up a spot for Kassian to come in eventually. Needed someone cost controlled on the back end. And was looking for a periph boost. This checked all the boxes.

Looks like a pretty good deal. I flirted with idea of offering Methot but that wouldn't have worked if you wanted to clear cap room. Plus, I'm a little thin on defense at the moment.

Also wow never really clicked but I am Jets Defense now

Lot of that around here. After shopping for months the only other people who ever showed somewhat serious interest were billy and the handsome mike after a likely near league wide inquiry. Well and Matthew at the final hour. So that had an impact on expected returns, I don't get it personally. Think he's a great player especially in our format, but a lot of people don't for some reason. Got a deal that got me the kind of player I wanted so I jumped on it.

Nah never told him about that. Honestly I think Hartnell scored 2 goals in the game after I proposed it.
