Dallas We Still Suck Block

2016 1st Rounders (DAL, CAR, MON, PHI, VAN)
Gregory Campbell- $1.5M, periphs heavy C, with cheap contract, hits, FOW, PIMS, Blocks, PKs you name it.
Willing to take on a younger, less periph C with some adds
Jacob Josefson- $800K, young and cheap with lots of periphs as well. Plays on the PP and PK units
Matt Nieto- $925,000, young, cheap also periphs. Primary PK on a much better looking SJ team
Kyle Palmieri-$1,466,666, young, cheap, and showing off those all around skills with his new team. 12 points through 14 games, along with Pims, hits, and SOG
Tom Wilson- Same pain train who we all know and love but has adding PKing to his stat line as well. Seeing almost a min per game.
Michal Rozsival- D, expected to return any day, also on a cheap contract
Jakub Kindl- averaging about a hit and block per game, easy cap hit to fit
Cam Ward- on a shitty team but putting up very respectable numbers. Sitting at number 20 in goalie standing all by himself

Just last week you said Kimmys pick would be in the 20s and now I should be taking that pick 2 years away. What's this weeks flavor of the week
100 percent never said that. I said the pick would be around 10th, I believe, in response to someone els saying it would be top 3.

Too damn focused on age. Current production and top end potential should be bigger focuses than date of birth. And youth doesn't automatically equal huge leaps of future production development.

Naw but trading away a 21 year old NHLer who fills out lots of cats is what I consider poor asset management
