haha well managed to package off umberger in a move like this. I've still got some decent cap room right now with most of my guys on LT deals. But ya I hear ya. Was planning on waiting out this year, but hell with it. Might as well make a push for it.

Ya good point Matt - think it was more of a "make my team my own thing" last year. Now, after performing relatively well this year, I figure why not give it a go rather than waiting a few years.

Wasn't truly a rebuild - was a get younger and stay competitive re-tool.

Like Charlie Coyle and Dvorak. Think Umberger gets bought out after this year but who knows but also think kesler will come around but does get a raise next year

Coyle makes 1/3 of what Kesler makes and he has more points.

Kesler is a beast on the dot, but there are cheaper guys you can buy.

I love that Thom is learning from his past mistakes. Unlike wine, these guys dont get better with age.
