Glad to finally acquire an actual value chip prospect who's in NHL (Virtanen) + Shaw who's also am improving nhler for a prospect far from NHL in larsson but untapped upside + donskoi who's clearly the current best player now but unsure in terms of future. I'll gladly pay a 2nd round pick to get it done.

He's running mine too. Told me that Seguin is having a good year on my team and is poised for a call up soon so I'm excited.

Guys being hard on Paul. Virtanen was a 2014 6th overall pick who was only a month away from being a 2015 pick. And he is more the type of player that would become more effective once he fills out more in a few years. He could still be easily the best NHL player long term in this deal.

Larsson's production in the shl may look impressive, but keep in mind he is playing on the by far most offensive team (frolunda) in the shl, and is 4th among dmen in points on the team. While Jake is playing in the NHL.

Nice deal. Virtanen is my favorite player in the deal, but Steve still gets the upper hand in overall value.

I'm very worried about Virtanen as a Canucks fan. But I'm really hoping for the best

The pick might be a bit much of an add but this isn't nearly as bad as most are making it out to be, Virtanen is the best prospect and is already a young NHLer and if he pans out will likely be the best BBKLer here. Shiv might be mad that Steve is getting better this year seeing as he's going to owe a bunch of us picks.

To be fair the only guys who like this for me are shiv and mik. Long term this should be a good deal for Paul.
