Confirm.
Fastest deal I've ever made with someone of this quality.

I read this and got worried. I was drunk when i confirmed the deal but not drunk enough to confirm Jonny hockey for just honka. Crouse was the main player coming back.Fraser wroteCOLONHmm i donno Steve. I like Honka but not this much
And to answer Billy. I suspect 5.9 - 7.5 for Gaudreau. Somewhere between Barkov and Tara.
Re: TBL/LAK
Honka is my favorite piece in the deal, like Masin quite a bit too, but I am in the camp of people that severely dislike Crouse. If Crouse reaches his hype and Honka develops into a top pair defender it is an easy deal for you to make. Masin developing into a top 4-5 defender would just be the cherry on top.The BBKL Insider wroteCOLONI read this and got worried. I was in that camp as well. But crouse was one of Canadas top players at the WJC and is nhl ready. I did a fair bit of reading about crouse before i made this offer. Dave Tallon loves crouse and said he'd start the year on a line with bjudstad. According to 2 or 3 different scouting reports Crouse has really developed his game nicely this year. One scouting report even indicated that Crouse would go 5th if the draft was redone. So i guess we shall see.

Nice Deal. More risk on Steve's end but this is why he's elite. Spends time to find top-end guys on the cusp and maximizes value of his NHL players in his flips... wish I had time to be like Steve when I grow up.
Nick if you ever wanna make your team more well rounded have lots of guys with non-scoring stats to help you out...

My team is full of fun players to watch and awesome in NHL16. hahaha.
Kane - Giroux - Gudreau is a beautiful line to imagine trying to get the puck back from.
I think Crouse is going to be an amazing BBKLer and an awesome player for FLA. However Johnny Hockey is looking like a perennial top 20 scorer and that's just the surest way to make a team that wins the scoring categories every single week. Then I just need the leafs goaltending to be half ass decent and I'm in any week against the juggernauts like Steve and Mike. Ya you too Mik.
It's time for me to pay *some* attention to my blue line. It is young and cheap and fun to watch, but...

Re: TBL/LAK
I wonder what Johnny signs for, SB Nation post has a crazy in-depth breakdown:
there lies about a 50 percent chance that he takes home somewhere between 6.35 million and 7.05 million, a 75 percent chance that he winds up taking home 6.075 million and 7.325 million and a 92.5 percent chance that he winds up with a contract worth somewhere between 5.55 million and 7.85 million. The Flames will obviously prefer to keep it to this metric and try and lock Gaudreau up and the best cost that they possibly can.

depends on Eric Staal and cap changes.bills09 wroteCOLONIf he signs for 6-7.5M what's your cap look like
I think I have a few others to worry about as well, Kyle Palmeri, Kevin Hayes, Calle Jarnkrok, Stuart Percy, Teemu Pulkkinen, Nikita Nesterov....

Think you have this Crouse fellow mixed up with Kyle ConnorThe BBKL Insider wroteCOLONI was in that camp as well. But crouse was one of Canadas top players at the WJC and is nhl ready. Top 5 should be:
1. McDavid
2. Eichel
3. Marner
4. Provorov
5. Connor
