You know the deal. Give the next GM of this joke of a franchise something to work with
Best offer wins, Assets all accepted. (Except obviously 2016 entry draft picks)

Would definitely give a 7th next year for this if I had one, even a late 6th.

How does a late 7th rounder beat an actual NHLer?

Peluso isn't an NHLer at this point and will likely be free on waivers. Also doesn't fit criteria of the block.

How isn't he an NHLer? He played 35 games last year because he was injured. He is signed to a one way deal.

Thought the block was just for '17 picks. He isn't an NHL regular because he is behind Wheeler, Laine, Stafford, Armia and Thorburn on right wing if they don't sign anyone else.

At first I was thinking 7th was better, but honestly, if peluso plays 50 games during next season he can probably be traded for a 4th/5th to someone for games played later in the season. And he does have a contract. Paul's team is gonna need some gp likely too. Or he may not play. Close call.

ya i'd take peluso. Also played highschool puck with the guy so its funny to see him being offered in so many forums

SO he's going to go from being an every other day NHLer to not being one at all despite being on a one way contract, at 26 years old.
I think you are a little biased.
All of your projections aside, I still don't see how a late 2017 7th round pick is worth more than an active, contributing, proven NHLer.

Lee - peluso + what for Rinaldo?
I'd take him off you for a pick but have way too many contracts, so you'd need to take a non-waiver exempt back. Would also move farnham or porter in this scenario

I just want a pick for him, not interested in adding more players. Have too many waiver eligible players. I wouldn't be offering Peluso for a shitty 7th round pick if I had space to keep him.

So Carolina could get the 2017 pick and then just pick up peluso on waivers at the start of the year? Hmmm

We're just trying to get the next guy some picks to work with. Carolina has like 8 Anthony Pelusos lol. Nobody will even give you a 7th for him so there's no resell value for the new GM either.

I think in season he gets more than a 7th if he is playing games.

Not biased and wouldn't offer my 6th and my offer can easily be beaten with another 7th. Lots of guys in the AHL on 1 way contracts too that doesn't matter. I think it is telling that you can't get a 7th for him yet and CAR has a bunch of Ws already:
Skinner
Nyquist
Perry
Vatrano
Nystrom
Chipchura
Armia
Terry
Bernier
Shaw
Not sure he needs a guy that would be 10/11th on his depth chart..

You're assuming he makes it to waiver period.
I'm honestly trying not to be an asshole any more but I'm just saying that if the CC chooses a 7th round pick and Carolina misses GP, there will be a shit storm as it will be squarely on your shoulders for not accepting an NHLer at a ridiculously cheap cost.

If Peluso plays a bunch and Paul is short on Ws I would agree but don't see either happening.
