I view it as similar players with the same cap hit, but Vlasic is safer to repeat his stats. Werenski, Murray and Jones make me worry that Savard might see his stats drop a little and I'm fine with paying two prospects I don't view as impact guys to get the guy I'm more confident puts up similar stats. Only thing Savard really beats Vlasic in is hits and I have more than enough of those with my blue line.

I would've done Vlasic for savard as it makes me younger and I prefer savard over de haan at the moment (who I got for Vlasic). This isn't a bad deal at all

I offered Oshie for Dano + 1st, to even out cap and give me some flexibility.

That was a generous ask for Oshie.
