Likely could have had him way cheaper if I acted before he signed in Ottawa. Paul traded for him in ADHL and I think he could be a useful depth player who hopefully PKs a lot since I read the GM brought him in to help with that.

Yeah, I didn't think he would get an outright contract. I was expecting a pto considering how many players received them last season. Am happy to get this for him given the above. All 3 pieces are risky but blandisi has shown some promise could be a middle 6 winger. lessio played well in his NHL showing last year before getting injured. He could be a 3rd/4th liner.

Hopefully for Matt, Kelly's injury troubles are left behind in Boston. He's been a useful player but he's due for one nasty injury per season.

Forgot about that fact but ya was referring to Ana Matt and all the PM's about Kelly over the year. Goes to show you that being patient and persistent can pay dividends.

Not like he was worth much more than that pick. That said, they both have a decent amount of upside to make it a worthwhile trade for Matthew.

Lessio left for the KHL pretty much immediately after this trade. I moved the 3rd for something stupid. Didn't expect blandisi to amount to much at the NHL level and especially not ever play center in the nhl, but he seems to be coming into his own. I lucked out.

He is now getting lots of minutes and pptoi at center and is starting to put up points too.

That being said, once njd begin adding any decent forwards he could lose his spot in the lineup.

Anything of value for Kelly was a win for you.

Once lessio went to the khl I wasn't sure I was gonna have anything of value.
