Yes. Unfortunately i was intoxicated Saturday evening and traded him to Billy.

I think Zaitsev could be more valuable the Ellis, but that's probably the Leafs fan in me hoping that will be the case. Steve seems to be doing everything in his power to get players that are expansion draft exempt. I have just came to the conclusion that I will lose one good player and there's nothing I can do about it.

Not really. I will still lose a good player.

One of skinner, savard, bjudstad will probably be claimed. This deal does little to protect one of those guys.

You have made a lot of moves to acquire expansion exempt guys though.
