Currently 3rd overall scoring in the NHL.
1st overall goal scorer
Seeing almost 18 minutes per game. Coaches have some serious faith in him.
Only 25 years old.
Also has 26 FOW from the wing slot. 12 hits ain't bad either.

Oh, did I mention that he is signed for this year and next for 750k and he's waiver exempt?

I can understand the interest. He's French Canadian, which is almost European.
