Jacob Markstrom ha been tabbed as the Canucks starter next year as well as the goalie of the future. Ideally looking for NHL backup + significant roster upgrade. Provide an even better roster upgrade an a backup wont be required. PM/text.

Scott should be all over this. I don't expect it to be too expensive given you need to move one of your goalies before expansion or lose them for free?

True. No guarantees thatcher pans out either. Goalies are lottery tickets.

This does intrigue me but the expansion angle concerns me as well as the amount of assets I've moved to acquire any form of goaltending.

The Mike Smith deal hasn't worked out for me but the one that hurts more is trading away Dubnyk before he got to Minnesota and figured things out.

Expansion helps acquire goaltending right now.
