I saw BU play Michigan (in person). I really liked Fabbro as well as McAvoy. Bellows is a big kid but played a bit too much on the perimeter. The kid I was really impressed by was Greenway. That kid is a tank. Plays in a 10 foot circle around the net and is very strong. Granted, I think Michigan has one of the weakest teams they've had in the last decade.

Bellows still has a lot of improvements to make as a player. I went for the raw talent to bank on and didnt have much depth on fwd prospects

If I'm being honest, I like Bellows a little bit more. It's a pretty simple trade though. I am very comfortable with the talent and the depth of my fwds in my system, but my defense is lagging behind. Should work out for both of us.

I suppose having a system deep in dad's would be a good thing...

Bellows looked pretty meh at Isles dev camp. Was timid in playing the puck and didn't stand out at all.

FWIW Ho Sang stood out and MDC clearly does not enjoy backchecking or playing defense

Thats why its a gamble on all prospects front
Fabbro has it high now with top pairing status for wjc
Its a lateral move in my view

Everyone in the prospects game should know players dont appear at their best every game.. hence the short cross sectional review of shoalzie and foofnik in respective games they saw of him. He will develop just fine
