I think this will turn out to be a pretty savvy move on Matt's part

Definitely think it's win-win and maybe people aren't looking at stats. Nisk is actually the 10th ranked D on Fantrax right now and Fisher is the 15th ranked C. Adding two impact guys ranked in the top 15 at their position and saving 1.8M cap is a no brainer for me and a big upgrade. Plekanec at 34C and Backes at 49W still give Mike 2 very good players he can look to flip to further improve his future and adding a 1st next year makes it a pretty easy trade for both of us to make.

I like this for both guys. I like to see guys go all in!

Great move for matt for this year and the next couple I think. Likely gonna try and flip pleks and backes so let me know if anyone is interested. The 1st rounder is a ways away from contributing, but tbh the value in this league for nisk and fisher is lower than it should be IMO. Both top 20 at their positions. Great all around contributors
