Seems really cheap to move into 1st overall. If Mike decided to move the pick for a player in the next month you would think he would get more value with #1 pick.

as the game gets lower and lower in scoring i think by that time the top scorer of the league tops out at 10 points.. better pick a goalie

I guess the only possible motivation I can see for this deal is if LA was worried PIT would move the pick to someone who wanted to take Nico 1st?

Leverage, he picks Nico and then can ask for more from Steve if he wants to be a dick.
