Offseason shopping list:
1. Secondary scoring winger (capable of 20+ goals / 40+ points)
2. #3 Center (good periph stats but can chip in offensively)
3. Offensive defenseman (capable of 30+ points)
(Current) Expansion protection list:
F Tom Kuhnhackl
F Anders Lee
F Evgeni Malkin
F Tom Pyatt
F Drew Stafford
F Vincent Trocheck
F Thomas Vanek
D Justin Braun
D Marc Methot
D Luca Sbisa
G Mike Smith

I've got some redundancy on my roster. I've got two veteran starting goalies, Ryan Miller is likely the odd man out...via expansion draft or trade. If he's not selected in the expansion draft, I'll probably wait to see where he signs in free agency before I trade him.
All my defensemen are about the same...might top out at 15-20 points with solid periphs. Braun, Methot and Sbisa are the best of the group so that's why I'm protecting them. If Paul Ladue becomes a full-time player for the Kings, I'd like to make room for him. I currently have 7 NHL defensemen (not including Ladue).
I've got 3 checking centers...Brodziak, McClement and Mitchell. I might one of them if I get a proper #3 center.
Not going to be as aggressive as last spring...just want to fill some holes in the lineup and improve.
