Seems cheap. Feel like I would prefer Raanta over Coreau (or any other expansion player from NJ) plus those picks.

I'm fine with losing anyone else who's exposed. Mostly I just wanted some security with my goaltending situation

There's a good chance Tim was never going to take Raanta anyway. I'd fully expect him to play it the way he did and say he was considering him. If so bravo, exactly what he should be doing in his position.

Kinda surprised at this. Raanta was by far lokis best available piece, imo.

If he could take more than 3 goalies sure, but as such why would he take a backup goalie that is no longer waiver exempt?

TBH I think the 3 goalie limit is the only reason Tim backed off on the price

I'm there 3 would be starters right off the top of my head that I can think of. And we already covered Stolarz earlier tonight if he chooses to stash a goalie in his minors.

Who's to say Loki would've paid it? If you aren't going to take the player anyway, take the free picks.
