So wait.. you traded Dustin Brown+ for Malkin and Kaberle and now you traded Kaberle and are looking to move Malkin?

Trades happen. Sometimes out of necessity.

the difference is, each of those trades you listed added value to my team, while your trades are subtracting value. at an exponential rate.

Really? Shipping a 3rd liner and a one dimensional prospect, one of whom is in a long line of one of the same type of one dimensnional prospects in Edmonton, is ground breakingly destroying the team? Give me a break.

no its the fact that you essentially traded yip down to hecht. you dont seem to have a plan at all. with a team like yours that spells catastrophe.

Yeah.. look at the team I started with, and the team I have now.. and tell me I don't have a clearly defined plan.

Just finished looking at both rosters, with that in mind, I can safely say you don't have a plan.

Really? going from a base of:

Pavel Kubina
Kristian Huselius
?
?
?
?

To a base of:
Morin
D'amigo
Parse
Sexton
Schultz
Harding

You don't see a trend of a rebuilding team? Of course you don't. You seem to have a hard on for a lottery team. But hey, I'll gladly trade Comrie for Stamkos, if you want to give me back some of the players that my team was raped of. No? Of course not.

Hey Nick what did I say? I knew he was going to bring up the previous regime...Again...God Lee, you came in with a ton of hype, but thus far none of it seems warranted.

Because I'm not trading parts of my future for peoples spare parts to try and get 9th place in the conference? I'm not trying to build a team that just makes the playoffs.

Here's a gaurentee: I won't make the play-offs this year, or next year. That's not on my adgenda while I rebuild.

Kareem.. Please let me know.. Is there a salary cap? I'm told that there is, and that I was over 4 mil below it. And the longer I wait, the move leverage other people have to use that against me. Now I'm comfortable with where I stand. I also needed a goalie, which this trade addressed. Now I'm not pigeon holed into only taking a goalie for Comrie. All this at the cost of a 4th liner and an aging, yet decent prospect. A prospect type that Edmonton has many of.
