Tough to get a read on this, I think Anton got the best player, Matt potentially got the best overall stats out of this deal, but I like David Jones, so it's hard to say definitively who won.

there is 0 question that anton got the best player for sure!

I did this deal because i added two top 6 forwards and only lost 1 slowly adding depth...part of the rebuild.

Jones is the wildcard here.

he will either ride shotgun with stastny or play on the third line. the knee im not overly concerned about. he's still young and has had loads of time to recover.

i feel like i overpaid.

but if you're going to overpay, it might as well be for a guy like kopitar.

he fits in perfectly with the rest of my young guys age wise.

kopitar, neal, wolski, voracek, mueller, leino, upshall, jones, hjalmarsson (all in 20-26 age range)

i agree he fits in perfectly, from my point i went from my terrible team last year to a top 6 of

Smyth - Koviu - Marleau
Riberio - Briere - Booth

which is the main reason why i was okay with moving Kopi.

David is a nice question mark, and rib/patty are a little older... but really nice deal.

thats actually his third knee injury in the last 4 years...all the same knee...
